Bolt Driver, Dangerous to the public.
Bolt South Africa, On Saturday the 3rd of Jan 2026. CAS31/1/2026 number. I am going to Hello Peter as Bolt is not assisting in anyway. Although this was reported on the app to them on the day. Still no assistance, as they have 500 people sitting with the same email address and when you mail you get a reply from different people all the time. It is 11 days later and no feedback or a call from Bolt. This guy is dangerous and should not be allowed to drive people around or do deliveries. Right back to Saturday the 3rd of Jan 2026, I always order my stationary from the same guy every year. He booked on the Bolt app for delivery to my house. I had paid for the delivery already when I paid for the stationary. I was in the back of my complex by my car when I received a call from my stationary guy that Bolt had arrived and I must collect outside. I had asked my mom and daughters to collect for me and sent my mom the pick of the car and registration. Just to make sure they collect from the correct car. They collected the 3 Boxes for me and then my daughter come to me in the back and said the driver is requesting I pay him R100.00. I was very confused as I know I had already paid. I then starting walking back to my unit to go and chat to the driver. I tried calling my stationary guy on WhatsApp call but it didn't ring. So, I asked my daughters to please bring my work phone so I could make a normal call. By this time in was in the front of my complex, I greeted the driver and said to him that I had paid the sender for the delivery so I am just trying to get a hold of him quick. By then my daughter had given me my phone through the gate. I was making a call and the driver started getting aggressive and calling me names and swearing at me. I asked him please I am just as confused as he is and I never indented for this to happy. He then got out of his car and went to his boot that he had opened. From where I was standing by the passenger door on the grass it sounded like he was looking for something scratching around in the boot, all of a sudden, he closed the boot walked up to me and grabbed my person phone out of my hand and it fell between the tyre and the car. He was so aggressive and calling me all sorts off names and swearing. We both went for the phone and he got to it first and he picked it up and threw it against my complex wall. Started swearing again at me and jumped in his car and left. I then realized what he was looking in his boot, for something to hit me with. I contact the police and reported it. I live 2 minutes away from the police station. I decided to go there and open a case. All this was reported to Bolt on the same day from the send of the parcels. I also got the email address and emailed them. After so many mails and talking to different people all the time. I got so frustrated as it is a new person asking the same over and over and over and over again. No solution just the same questions. There is no hope of getting to speak to one person. It scares me that this man is still working for them and is allowed to be on the road. I asked myself so many questions what if this or what if that. He is a danger to the public; Bolt doesn't not care as they have not even tried to make contact and it is so many days later. It doesn't look like he will be held responsible for my phone that was worth R7500.00 brand new. I don't have that kind of money as I am a single mom. My phone as also not insured. The phone is unrepairable as the guy at the cell shop said the LCD is bent. The front and back is badly damaged. I do know that SA Police is investing the case. But in the meantime, this man just goes about his day. I have all his details I am not sure if I am allowed to put it up for people to see and be aware of this dangers man. Bolt I don't blame you for people’s actions but your client services on reporting is the most ridiculous I have come a cross in a long time. I am still awaiting feedback from Bolt and I would like to know from then who is going to replace my phone as it is their employee that intentional malicious damage to my property.
