Bolt **** case

I'm writing this review based on a recent experience my partner had while using Bolt. I requested a ride for her on the 10th of December 2024 at 23:08 from a bolt driver named Bheki Sibeko but on his bolt account it is "Rally" he driver a gold Toyota Sedan who's registration number are HW87CBGP. The driver decided to cancel the ride while my partner was in the car and threatened to take her back with him if I don't give in to his demands of paying an extra R50 even though I had already been charged and money deducted from my account. Along the ride to the destination, the driver decided to make non censual ***ual advances on my partner by touching her thighs and threatening to **** her. He even made a wild comment by saying "you are lucky that you have pants on, if you had a dress or skirt on, I would have ****d you" my partner came home crying, frightened and emotionally damaged by what this driver did. I think bolt does not take the effort of doing background checks on its drivers and cares little about the safety of women in this country when every day, thousands of women are ****d in South Africa, my partner could have been a victim of such a horrible crime yesterday. I am deeply angered and saddened by what happened and what could have happened to her
