Bold is refusing to return my keys
I requested Bolt on Saturday night and dropped my keys inside by mistake when I got off. My friend and I phoned the driver and the driver confirmed to have the keys and he will drop them off at their offices at 29 Bond Street, Randburg, Johannesburg. I visited these offices twices, Monday and today, Friday, 10 March 2023. On Monday after I have been told that no driver droppped the keys, I tried to contact the driver which unfortunately I could only do via the App. On the App I am unable to contact the driver which now I relay the issue to Bold Support. Ref numbers *** and ***. The Bolt Support team keeps on referring me to get a case from Police station. I visited police station and the police says there is no crime committed so no case can be opened. What make sense from the police is that what charge am I going to put down. Bolt should be able to contact the driver since I provided them will all the details regarding the driver and car. It is Bolt employee afterall which Bolt should have the means of being able to contact the Driver. To date Bolt is sending me to police station for a case which now I am sent from post to pillar. Bolt, I just want my keys, please. You have details of your driver and why can't he drop them off at any police station when he is making he surrounds and let me know where to pick them up. Is this your practice when a person has dropped or forgotten something in one of the cars that has to got through all this drama? This is pathetic to say the list. You and your drivers should be protecting your clients properties but instead you keep for yourself. This is bad business practise while you expect us to support you but you cannot protect our belongings. What kind of ethics are you applying in your business. Do you even really screen your drivers because it seems like both yourself and drivers cannot be trusted.
