Bogus driver

Had a ride this morning and after the driver confirms the ride. Calls me to ask if I have a promo code, once I said yes he marks my trip as arrived (he wasn't even close to my location) and says 'client didn't show'. Is this how your drivers run their business? I will definitely be telling everyone of my experience and go back to using Uber.
