Abducted by Bolt Driver

Had a horrific experience Saturday 22nd January2022.

My son hired a Bolt ride to take me from Cresta Mall to Rosebank to join him for a meeting. On boarding the car I was in conversation with a friend for the first 3 minutes of the ride. As I finished the conversation I noticed that the drive had taken a wrong turn so I notified him.

He apologized and said that he was following the navigation...this continued and I was now getting angry and asking him to drop me off because he continued to go in the wrong direction getting onto the highway and heading towards then passed Joburg City, Selby and he kept going.

By now my son who was monitoring the trip since he had ordered the Taxi called to find out why I appeared to be heading in the wrong direction. My phone was on speaker and now both of us where arguing with the drive and I was insisting that he stops on the highway to let me out

This driver just kept going so I tried to open the door to jump out but the doors could not unlock and the driver kept going and insisting that I was the right direction

I started trying to attract the attention of other drivers on the road to let them know that I was being taken against am still he would not stop to let me out.

I was frantic and so was my son and hubby who where both on the line with me as the driver now took an off ramp into Cleveland.

As it took the off ramp I spotted a police vehicle and a few police ahead so i opened the window put half my torso out as I screamed for help

The SAPS actually ran into the road stopping the car. By now I was hysterical and the words just tumbling out.

The police drove me back to Joburg city where my family met me at Gandhi Square

I have made attempts to contact Bolt 🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️
