Stop taking my money for nothing

I signed a contract with BodyFlo Birch acres which has a clause that said should I want to cancel the contract, I can and I would pay a certain amount as a cancellation fee. I have been trying to get a hold of the gym since the lockdown began to cancel the contract, the gym is currently closed, the phone is always off, I continue to leave messages for someone to come back to me and nobody did. They just keep on debiting my account monthly. I finally sent an email on the group website and only then did I get a call back. The owner assured me that he would send me a mail by the end of the day to sort out the issue. It's been almost a week, no mail. No communication. And I know they will be only too happy to debit my account again month end.
