Lying to old people to get clients

<p>Dear Helopeter, my mom was at Germiston, and was approached by a lady by the name of Bokang from Body Lab, and according to my mom, she made them sign some forms saying there will be a roffle competition at Body Lab and if they win they will get a free Gym voucher, my mom signed the form without reading through it, only to find that she was actually signing the membership form, and Bokang told my mother that she must give her banking details so that incase she wins the prize, they can send it to her banking account.</p> <p> </p> <p>So my mom only got an alert when she got the R200 alert sms from Body Lab, and she was told that if she doesn't pay, she is going to be taken to court, when i called Body Lab today, they said she completed a Gym membership form which she did not know about. Meaning Bokang **** to my mother about the membership form at Body lab.</p> <p> </p> <p>What i dont understand is, how do you approache an old lady and tell her about a free voucher at the Gym and then make her sign without reading the forms, is that taking advantage to old people who cant read to get clients. That is very wrong, now they tell her that she must cancel and they will charge her the penalty fee, she was never at the Gym because she knew nothing about the Gym. Is that fair though?</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
