Day Light *******

Body Lab robs people , DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! I was made to sign the contract and I was told that it's not binding I can CANCEL at any time, little did I know that I've signed up for a 24 months Contract, and I told the sales people at The Workshop in Durban that I do not have time for gym and I was told I could CANCEL at anytime.....and I was like, why Not ? because she explained that my signature would help her "SALES" , being A good person that I am . I agreed. My case has been handed over and I have to pay more than R2000.00 (PS. I've never set my foot to that gym).

The above mentioned matter refers.

The complainant signed a contract with the service provider on the 02/08/2017.

The very first words states, in bold, “THIS IS A CONTRACT...”.

The complainant was never “made” to sign a contract.

The complainant signed this contract out of her own free will.

The complainant is indeed correct that she states that she was informed that she can cancel her contract at any time, this is in compliance with the National Consumer Act.

The complainant further alleges that she didn’t know that she is signing a 24 month contract, but she signed the contract on no less than six (6) occasions including a debit order instruction to her banking service provider, giving them instruction to pay a debit order for the service to be provided to her.

The complainant however failed to make payments as per the agreement. Due to the complainant’s persistent default she was handed over for the collection / litigation process.

The complainant alleges Body Lab robs people. This allegation cannot be correct. This allegation is not only slanderous but also incorrect. It is actually the complainant who is robbing Body Lab, because the service as per the agreement is always available, but she did not make payment.

"The complainant is indeed correct that she states that she was informed that she can cancel her contract at any time, this is in compliance with the National Consumer Act." - Why was I not allowed to CANCEL since I did not use your services? What am I paying for exactly? And I was only helping "a black child" that was the kind of marketing strategy that was used. I still believe that you rob people since you are literally dragged to their Tent, If I'd approached them I would willingly pay, but I was dragged and promised that I won't have to pay a cent If I don't/ didn't utilize your services. And Again on my "Contract", It's written that I am a "student" where am I supposed to get the money to pay the gym?
