Body lab ****
<p>On the 22nd of Dec I was approached by the body lab consultant at Golden walk Germiston and told me there's a free promotion that started on the 20th of Dec until 25th of Jan but on the 24th I received an SMS saying my account is in arrears and o need to pay 179. When I called they said I signed a 24 month contract with them when I tried to explained that what I was told I was signing was a free voucher for that period. I was answered rudely and I w can go and cancel. Only to find out that you have to pay a 30% cancelation fee. I'm a student and I don't have that kind of money please assist me</p>

The Complainant signed a contract with Body Lab Gym and Aerobics on the 21st of December 2016 at a rate of R179.00 per month for 24 months.
The Complainant the went further ad registered a debit order with her banking service provider using her own bank details and her own PIN number.
The Complainant has not yet exercised her right to cancel her contract in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.
The complainant’s version that she signed for a free voucher cannot be correct as the relevant contract on at least 4 (four) occasions clearly states “THIS IS A CONTRACT. NOT A VOUCHER. NO FREE MONTH.”
