Bad sevice

to whom it may concern

My reason for contacting you is because ive taken a contract for bodylab gym membership this was done in 2014 - 2016 hence it was a contract for 24months.

I am a loyal payer your levey fees as well as the R200 membership fee was always debited from my capitec bank account and when the contract had reached its termination period i notified that im cancelling the contract.

I called in and asked if bodylab had recieved the final payment through debit order and was advised that everything was up to date.

I requested for a cancellation letter to be sent to me as proof but there was an agent called evelyn that advised me she would send me the cancellation letter once the last debit order went off.

The final debit order transacted from my account in the month of september 2016 i did not get any communication not even a call from the agent that my contract was terminated.

Ive been job hunting for the last 2years and im not getting employment except for today i was called by a company that advised to do a ITC check before they can call me for an interview.

I was then called back and advised that i should contact transunion to check my credit report, i then did so and was advised to call bodylab.

I called bodylab and spoke to a andre motswene. Contact: ********** 431

He then only advised me that my profile has been handed over to there attorneys called cumbi attorneys. Ref:002-k266-363 Contact: ********** 818 Andre motswene then called me and gave me the correct number to contact coombe attorneys where my case was handed over. Contact: ********** 818

Below is proof that i spoke to an agent in august 2016. I am not happy with the level of service i got from bodylab and to whom it may concern you also need to understand.

What it means to be going for interviews and not getting any employment calls and all this has been happening for 2years.its really frustrating money consuming and unprofessional of bodylab.

Bodylab could of just called me in advance and notified me but they were unprofessional and kept quiet.

I am demanding a cancellation letter and expecting someone to call me and make up for my lost time...2year unemployment is a long time and who is gonna compensate me for my loss.

The abovementioned matter refers.

The complainant indeed cancelled his 24 month contract which cancellation was processed

The complainant however still had to pay for the 20 days’ notice period as per the Consumer Protection Act.

The complainant failed to do so and was handed over for the collection / litigation process for the outstanding monthly fee.

The service provider as well as its collection agents indeed contacted and attempted to communicate with complainant on various occasions but to no avail.

The complainant is the author of his own perils.

The complainant should contact the service provider’s attorneys of record and make arrangements to settle this matter.
