False Advertising

When I received my new iPhone in July 2015, the friendly consultant suggested I purchase a Body Glove tempered glass screen guard, which they fitted, as it will prevent damage or cracks to my cellphone screen. Today I knocked over my glass water bottle and it shattered my entire screen. Which is strange, because on the Body Glove box it clearly states that it has been made to withstand hard impacts.
Firstly I have to say that this is false advertising, as the product DOES NOT perform the functions stated on its sales packaging. Secondly when I took to shattered phone to the Vodacom shop they stood there in disbelief as this product they sold me was not suppose to shatter. The comment at another cellphone shop was that, I quote: \sometimes these covers just crack."Which is ridiculous as now I have to pay an absurd amount to fix my screen.
The worst part is that the tempered glass guard has some cracks on its surface"
