Contanimated pampers pate. I did notify Bob Martin of the problem and no response. I am guessing from the other complaints here we should go somewhere else. The pack is swollen and unsafe.

My daughter purchased a box of Pamper Wet Cat Food Multipack Pâté (12 x 85g). When she opened the box, all the sachets appeared normal. However, after feeding her cat with the first sachet, the cat later vomited severely. At the time, she did not suspect the food and fed the cat again the following day — the same reaction occurred. Thinking it might have been an issue with that specific sachet, she tried a new, sealed one from the same box. Unfortunately, the cat had the same reaction again. It’s important to note that none of the sachets initially showed any visible defects. A few days later, she noticed that two unopened sachets in the box had started to swell. She lodged a complaint with Bob Martin on 11 March. They responded on 12 March, stating they would investigate and arrange collection of the spoiled food — which never happened. On 2 April, Bob Martin issued an official response explaining that the issue may have been caused by pouch damage during transport or storage, allowing air and microorganisms to enter and spoil the product. While this acknowledges a fault on their side, there has been no reimbur*****t for the defective product. *** !!! This is extremely disappointing. The situation could have been far worse, and the lack of proper follow-through and accountability is concerning. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise other consumers to change your brand from Bob Martin and not purchasing anything from this brand.

On 21 February 2026, I noticed a piece of metal in one of the Pampers Royal Fishies biscuits, made by Bob Martin. I took a photo, kept the biscuit, and contacted Bob Martin's customer care online. It was arranged that the biscuit in question, as well as the rest of the biscuits in the package, be fetched for investigation. I asked to be informed about the outcome, and would have thought the product should be withdrawn until it was ascertained to be safe. This did not happen. After several calls to the Bob Martin customer line, requesting feedback, I have heard nothing. Does the company have something to hide? Have any cats suffered from unknown stomach ailments? A worrying concern. I was sent a voucher for R150 to replace the product, which I certainly will not use. I expect Bob Martin to contact and update me, and if the metal in the biscuit points to machine fault or similar, the product to be withdrawn immediately.

On 24 Dec2025 I bought 2 bags of Beeno 120g Dental chews (1 small and 1 med) I wrapped them for my dogs and on Chirstmas day opened them and they were all mouldy, I was away until 05 Jan 2026 so decided to send the a complaint via the website. This was done on 28 Dec 2025. I received a copy of the info I supp**** which included my slip, the photos as well as the batch info on the packet as I was not able to take the product back to the place as I was in a different province. I sent a follow up mail on 21 Jan 2026 and have still not heard anything back from them. I know its only R140 but I still feel like I lost out on R140. I mean, it wasnt even as if I could use the product and it broke. It was mouldy from the day I purchased it. I am so disappointed. I have never spent money on chews but wanted to treat my pups. Beeno / Bob Martin will never see another cent from me purely due to the lack of customer service.

I’m extremely disappointed with Bob Martin Beno biscuits. I found a thorn-like object inside one of the biscuits, which could have harmed my small dog. When I contacted customer service, they showed no genuine concern for my dog’s safety and were only focused on details like barcodes and expiry dates. They didn’t ask about my dog’s well-being or offer any solution. This lack of professionalism and care is unacceptable. I strongly advise pet owners to avoid these biscuits for the safety of their furry friends. Rating: -5
