Very limited Stock of Promotional Items
Went in on Tuesday (17/11/19) for their promotion on the Dinner set combo, which has been running from the 9th. I was advised that they where out of stock of the cutlery set that formed part of the promotion.<br> <br> Mr B advised me that they only had 12 sets of cutlery to start off with, which I'm sure would have been sold out with in the first 2 days. He also advised that no other store had stock available and that he could not advise me when they would be receiving stock.<br> <br> He advised me that I cannot purchase the combo and come and collect the cutlery once they receive stock.<br> <br> Promotion ends on 22/11/2015 and yet no idea of when they will be receiving stock. Certainly it cant take such a long period of time to receive stock of a product you're running a promotion on.<br> <br> Honestly Boardmans/Edcon/Edgars, running a promotion on an item you only have such very limited amounts of stock of? Not a satisfied customer as things stand.

Please be advised that we are selling seasonal products and most of the time items are not sold out during production. Sock that is left unsold will be on a promotional scale making space for new arrivals.
Therefore we will run out of the stock for many products within a few minutes (and in some cases, seconds) of the sale going live. For example, most of our special deals items (cutlery) were sold out as soon as they went live. We had ensured availability, in all our Boardmans stores from few units for various products, but it was nowhere near the actual demand.
