Gift card issues

I had recently been to Boardmans Cresta to sort use my gift cards received for my wedding 2years ago. First they say there is no money on my cards but when I call the gift card line there is R100 on one and R350 on the other the call center say next time do not leave till they sort it as there is money and you can use it. I go back a second time and they say they are offline and there is no money on the card, they call head office and there is money and they say to transfer the amount on to 1 gift card so I can use it but they said they offline I must leave my cards with them and details, they will sort it and call me back. No one calls and I go back the next day and they say its expired and they are trying to sort it with the manager. I call back 4days later and the guy no longer works there and the manager and staff say they cannot help me as the cards have expired. Please can someone help me as it seems no one at Boardmans Cresta is able to assist me and its going on for months now. Its like they now just take R450 that was a gift to me and say sorry we cannot help you now the money is gone, that is just ***** from Boardmans/Edcon!
