Stay away from BOA

I was at the BOA beauty bar in Claremont in April having a pedicure for my wedding.

Soon afterwards I experienced pain in my big toes. It got so bad it would wake me up at night and I couldn’t bear the weight of the sheet on them. Thinking it was ingrown toenails from the pedicure as I have had this problem before with them I waited. Then I noticed white marks on my big toes that I assumed were from cheap nail polish. I eventually visited my doctor who diagnosed a bacterial infection and nail fungus. I have been suffering for months. I have been on 4 courses of antibiotics and the infection is still flourishing.

On Friday I had my big toe nails removed. This has caused untold pain and numerous medical bills. My doctor has assured me a number of times that the source of the infection and fungus is the pedicure I had at BOA Claremont.

BOA’s standards of hygiene must be absolutely shocking. I would advise anyone who is considering a treatment from them to stay away.
