"Warning: Poor Management and Unfair Treatment at Boa Beauty Bar Mushroom Farm Midrand

I'm writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Boa Beauty Bar in Midrand. I attended a 4-day induction and was promised a basic salary of 5.5, plus 2.5 for two weeks of training, and commission and tips.

However, things took a turn for the worse from the start. I began working on the 28th of October and worked until the 28th of November. When my colleagues received their turnover on the 18th of November, I didn't receive mine. When I asked, I was ignored, and it was only sent to me on the 25th.

My main concern was that I couldn't see my tips at the end of each day, making it difficult to track my earnings. The pressure to work quickly compromised the quality of my work, and it seemed like the focus was on making money rather than ensuring client satisfaction.

When I received my salary, I was shocked to see that I only got 5.6. My colleagues received their payslips, but I didn't. When I asked to see theirs, the manager claimed that we got 4.999 as the 500 from the 5.5 basic was deducted because we started after payroll. The 600 I received was my commission, meaning I didn't get paid for training, and my tips were taken away.

When we complained, we were told they'd get back to us after a week. Now, they're saying the 5.6 covers basic, training, commission, and tips. As a nail tech, I'm extremely disappointed and feel ****** of my hard-earned money.

I urge anyone considering working with Boa Beauty Bar to think twice. The management is poor, and the treatment is unfair. I'm still waiting for a resolution and hoping that others will learn from my experience."
