Sold a written off vehicle

So what seemed like Avery nice car turned out to be the complete opposite. I app**** for the vehicle on The 17th of May 2024 took Delivery of it 18th may 2024 Was told the vehicle just came back from a polish and glaze so I should not was the vehicle 2 days go by I had replaced the spot light bulbs and found dry wall *****s holding the covers in I made contact with the sales man asking if the vehicle was in a accident he insured me it has not been and that the vehicle came from MFC. Another 2 days passed and found a blob of geese on the rim of the car and notified the salesman I got home played under the car to find the cv joint greese all over underneath the vehicle I booked the vehicle in to have it looked at and fixed I washed the vehicle the following Saturday then went through the car finding over spray panels not aligning bonnet not opening properly and the point of the door digging into the sill revealing body filler also notices some wind coming into the car while driving anyway fast forward to Tuesday they collected the vehicle to have the repairs done I listed the issues and again asked the salesman if the vehicle had been in a accident he confirmed again that it had not. A day later I was told to pick up a car to get around for work purposes and may I add this vehicle is a death trap I had to put 400 fuel in that didn't even give me 100kms and ended up just parking it asking them to please collect it.

I had heavy doubts amd had a natis report pulled on the vehicle that revealed this vehicle had been written off in February this year I asked the salesman to contact me and he responded that he will get someone in higher power to contact me as he doesn't have the answers I'm looking for (dead give away) I then told them I cannot proceed and would like the deal to be canceled the car was in my possession for 8 days and only drove it for 5.

Long story short they played dumb now not knowing about this and offered me a different vehicle but cannot cancel I got the bank involved who is of no help playing into the dealership favor.

I have to phone after them and get pushed and shoved around the manager then promise to give me a vehicle of higher value while they source me a vehicle and 3 different vehicles has now been offered the driver drops of a Ford fiesta that is in a complete state and I'm left with even more dissatisfied questions.

How does these banks still allow these dealerships to operate and finance these cars the consumer protection act and ombudsman is a huge financial loss to the clients fighting these sharks and reading from the bad reviews it seems as this is just their normal day to day operation
