Firstly I want to apologize that you feel you were treated unfairly. I can promise you that we did not give you an old battery. Infact, we gave you a brand new battery which has not yet been used to start a vehicle. We replaced the vehicles battery on Friday or Saturday with a new battery. That is the one we gave you. I want you to also understand that we cannot give you a brand new Willard battery just because you are requesting. What we can do is for you to bring our battery back and we can get a quote for the Willard. We will then pay you the monies equal to a battery we would have purchased and you can put the extra monies toward the Willard price. As a secondhand dealer selling secondhand vehicles. We cannot guarantee wear and tear items on a vehicle such as batteries, shocks, clutches and so on. These are secondhand vehicles and does ha e normal wear and tear. However, we did not stand back when you mentioned your battery does not work anymore and we supp**** you with a new one. No questions asked. Even though this is a wear and tear item and we did not have to give you a new battery. We are also allowed to supply you with different brands and secondhand parts as we are the ones paying for the replacements.
Myself and my sales manager were unaware that you would visit us at the dealership in that time frame. We had an appointment at the time and should we have known you would be there at that specific time, we would have arranged our appointment accordingly.
Once again I would like to apologize to you if feel you were treated unfairly.
