Refuse to close balance after settlement

Paid off my finance account last year October/November. Since then I am struggling to have my account closed off. BMW Finance is creative about the status of my account. Resubmitted the proof of payment which they everytime claim they did not receive. Raising a new balance everytime. That is ******ion.
