BMW Bad Service
Please take note that I bought a second hand BMW in August last year 2017. After paying a substantial amount to get the service plan etc. placed over to my name. the vehicle was services on 86 000km on the collection of the vehicle the day I requested the service department to advise on how and when I will need to insure the vehicle comes for the next service.
I was advised that the on board screen will show the date or kilometers when I will need to book my next service.
So i did what I was advised and ow I am advised that once the vehicle goes over 100 000km the service plan will be null and void.
When I asked where was this disclosed or where was I advised of the terms and conditions this just gets shrugged off.
The service department manager was of great help, but still I am sitting in the situation of an vehicle that needed to serviced that can not be serviced due to lack of advise on disclosure and terms and conditions that was never disclosed to me after I had to pay a substantial amount to get the service plan etc. to be placed over to my name.
I feel that I was mislead in thinking that the advised received with regards to the on board screen is correct and that my vehicle will still be covered under its service plan.
