Poor workmanship and customer relationship from Sovereign BMW

I would like to report Sovereign BMW Vereeniging poor workmanship and poor customer relationship. The History of my 2008 BMW with Sovereign BMW is as per below mentioned. • Car went for service, and I was notified that the sump plug was stripped and that they need to get engineering to replace the plug. The plug was changed and the very next day I went to Marloth Park on the way my son who was driving behind me indicated that I should pull off the road. He then told me that the car is troughing oil from the back. I monitored the oil level till I have reached the first town to get to a service station that could assist me in identifying the problem. After investigating I was notified that the oil filter cap seal was damaged whilst replacing the cap during the service. When I returned from vacation, I again took the car back to BMW the vehicle to Sovereign BMW to fix the leak after they have fixed the leakage it was still leaking and is still leaking to date.

• On the next service they notified me that the next major service is due in 1000 KM, and I then immediately ask them to rather do the major service during this period they notified me that the pulleys were worn, and I agreed to change the pulleys. Apon receival of my vehicle I went on holiday to Kruger national park and returned home without any problems. The next morning when I started the car there was a squeaking noise like a slack V – Belt, but the noise was only heard for a short time until the car has warmed up. I called Sovereign BMW and notified them of the problem and drove the vehicle back to them to investigate. Sovereign BMW then notified me that now it’s the power steering pump pulley that is damaged (strange that they have not noticed this whist doing the major service and detecting the other faulty pulleys). I obtained another pulley from Gold Wagen to replace the damaged one. Thereafter I was informed that now its not the only the pulley that was damaged but also the power steering pump. I obtained a power steering pump from Gold Wagen and gave it to them to fit. They informed me that the pump shaft length is incorrect and causes a mis alignment, they then informed me that the power steering bracket has been modified and therefore the pulleys are misaligning and if they replace the bracket all will be ok. They ordered the bracket and my vehicle stood at Sovereign BMW for over a month in the meantime I agreed to agreed to buy the original pulley and pump from BMW. • On Thursday 11/11/2021. The dealer called me and said hat the work is completed and my vehicle is ready for collection. Whilst driving out of the dealers premises a severe noise coming from the engine was detected. I immediately took the car back and reported the problem to the agent and left the car there for further investigation. On 12/11/2021 I received an email from Mrs Mouton stating that Sovereign BMW refuses to carry out any further work on my car and stating that they do not accept any responsibility for damages to the engine and that the dealer is not willing to drive the vehicle to my house due to them being afraid of damage to the engine • I objected to this decision and informed Mrs Mouton that this behaviour is not acceptable, and we are only requesting them to repair the car to a running condition as it was before they started to work on my car, but to no avail they are refusing to do anything
