Poor Services experience BMW Bloemfantein

Dear Dawie Marais In December of 2022 I took our Countryman Cooper to Sovereign Mini Bloemfontein due to some drive train error. We were assisted by a lady called Nadine. The diagnosis of the car pointed at the engine. I was told that the entire engine had to be changed. The cost would roughly be R110 000. At that time I was at another car dealer where my wife and I bumped into Ronny. We shared our experience as he was the sales man of our Countryman in 2017. He suggested a guy called Tshepang in the name of BMW. He mentioned that Tshepang used to work for BMW and he could help us at a much reasonable price and that he could give me a diagnosis that pinpoints the problem in the engine. He further asked us not to mention his involvement to Nadine when we take our car from Sovereign Mini Bloemfontein. He took the car to his friend's workshop. I made the first payment to Ronny's account which was R43 000 while he was working for another dealership and there after R12 000, R8 000 and R5 000 when he was reemployed at Sovereign Mini Bloemfontein. The other payments I started to make directly to Tshepang's account when I realised the costs were actually much more than expected , because this was excluding their labour. Ronny sent me quotations from BMW. The amount he requested from me was the amount showing on those quotes. That is what I paid into his account. I asked Ronny to send me invoices, he did not have them. I asked him for proof of payments he made to Tshepang's account. He still could not provide them. He told me about a new diagnosis of the car which was a faulty oil pump. He sent me the oil pump quotation. I sent R5 000 directly to Tshepang. Ronny gained my trust because he was my wife's sales man and she is very fond of Sovereign Mini. Everything he said I believed. He was reemployed at BMW and he suggested we buy parts and continue fixing the car. I made payment at his request This has had a very negative impact on my family and has dented the trust we had in Sovereign Mini Bloemfontein. We are not happy about how we were taken advantage of by one of the salesman in the name of a trusted car dealership. Me and my wife we were also planing of buying another from BMW because we have a trusted the brand of company but due to the bad customer experience service that we receive we decided not proceed with our plans and look for another alternative company which doesn't employ ****s and care about their customers.
