I have enquired about a used vehicle advertised on Autotrader and was contacted by the salesman Juandre. I continued to apply for finance, got it approved and arranged to take delivery of the vehicle. Upon insuring the vehicle I was told by the insurance company that the car I was insuring was a manual x1 but this was clearly advertised as an automatic car. When I brought this to the salesmans attention he didn't even apologize for the massive mistake on their part. He proceeded to try and validate their incompetence by sending me the details they sent to Autotrader to post the advert but even this document clearly shows the car is advertised with A/T which indicates automatic transmission.
