BMW Roadside assist and Motor plan on Motorcycles

I am the owner of a motorcycle tour and rental company in South Africa. I use BMW motorcycles. They are all under motor plan and BMW roadside assist. One of my clients had to be collected by BMW roadside assist when he broke down on a F800GS. They first of all delivered the bike to a BMW dealer which is over 70km's away from me after being told where my company is situated. They then inspected the bike and decided to send me a quote for R195000 to repair this bike (including the motor) after being told to ignore the cosmetic damages. Needless to say I can buy a brand new one for less than that. This bike has +-19000km's on the clock (2017 model). BMW are now telling me that it does not fall under the motor plan as it is accident damaged and must've been idling while lying on its side. My experience first of all tells me that if you fall down when a bike is in gear it stalls, so how could it be idling on it's side if this even was the case. I am well aware of the cosmetic scratches and marks on the bike as these were there before my client used the motorcycle. My client tells me that they had a problem starting the bike and the battery died while they were trying to start it. When they eventually got it jump started the next day it was making a terrible noise and that is when they decided to call BMW roadside assist and not go any further. I am now obviously in a situation where I will have to claim from my insurance to replace this motor. I was on the fence as to whether I should keep servicing my bikes with BMW and pay a premium for this or use my own personal mechanic who uses original BMW parts and service them with him at half the price. I think my decision has just been made for me because if this is the case BMW motor plan does not cover what it is meant to and it is therefore not necessary for me to use their service department.
