Hi, I got into a motorbike accident and was in the hospital for a month. My motorbike was picked up by enroute with fotos take of the bike as is and got the motorbike delivered to me back home in 2 days from the accident as is like on the photos. When I was finally able to walk again I had to open a case against the person who drove in front of me in a 1 way street. Then I was asked to get quotes from BMW motorrad 3 months or so after my accident when I was able to walk normally again, but on this day I had to the clinic while the bmw motorrad roadside assistance was coming to pick up my motorbike to take it to BMW. I told them the would need extra hands as the bike front wheel was stuck with the bike in first gear. They didnt send the guy any help, so my wife had to help the guy and I do have his name and surname to strap my motorbike on to the trailer. The odd thing about my accident was that my clocks was still in perfect condition, so obviously we sent everything as is to BMW Motorrad. However the guy did not take photos and what makes this even worse is that vesises that I knew everything that was still on my bike. And I was at a clinic taking slightly longer than I expected that is 500 meters away from my home and I'm also not from Cape Town. So I dont have any people coming to my place unless its my father in law. And my place is secured. So nobody besides my wife parents were at my place and thry have no reason to take any of things. Long story short. The bike was left standing at BMW motorrad for a long while when I got quotes of all the parts that was missing including a few parts that was actually still perfectly fine. When I got the motorbike back from BMW motorrad with roadsise assisstance, a different guy picked it up and brought it to me. And when the bike got to my place I was devestated that there were a few expensive parts missing, the only people I ever thought I could trust. Or the only company I thought I could trust. I spoke to BMW Motorrad and roadside assistance both conpanies deny the loss of my parts. Im a very loyal member to BMW / Motorrad and I've been on their books for a few years now. Even though I stay in Gordon's Bay, I would drive all the way to Cape Town just to have the same people work on my bike as I dont trust anyone and even though I could have sent my bike to Stellenbosch perhaps or other people. There is nothing worse than the feeling of your last bit of trust in humanity or your favourite company being taken away from you. The evidence points to the road side assisstance company whom is presented by BMW. The parts cost that I lost on top of the loss of my motorbike is at least an extra R15k that I dont have anymore. Which makes it even harder to sell the bike now. Im honestly just tired of people taking advantage and Im not letting go of this situation. I honestly thought I could trust the people taking care of my motorbike. For the rest of my life I will probably tell me how BMW broke my trust completely. This is not my problem that a company cant have their evidences in order. Next stop is social media, because clearly nobody cares anyway...
