Settlement amount incorrect

I requested a settlement amount in April to settle my motorcycle and paid the said amount that was received via email. The following month I get a statement claiming that there is still an amount outstanding. I have been trying to resolve this ever since and send all the documentation through a few times. No one comes back to me. I am not going to pay the additional amount as I acted on the settlement. Please investigate urgently so that this can be resolved.
