No Interest

I surrendered my vehicle due to my divorce. I was told I would be contacted once the vehicle was sold and be advised if there's a shortfall and the way forward. I heard nothing. I now find out that they have a judgement against me on ITC. I have been trying to get to the bottom of this since July. I am now advised that the summons was attached to the door at my previous address, after me updating my information at the time of surrendering the car. I have been charged a ridiculous amount of interest and am now liable to pay them as much as I paid for the vehicle when I first bought it. They refuse to reverse the judgement, even if I make an arrangement to pay off what is due. When I raised the issue of no feedback with the consultant, she said they have a backlog and can not get back to every customer.
