BMW Motor Plan

My vehicle is still on Motor Plan with BMW South Africa. 3 weeks ago I took it for a service at BMW and immediately took it to Tiger Wheel and tyre for wheel alignment and balancing. Tiger wheel informed me that one of the shocks on the left front wheel of the tyre is leaking oil.

Today I took my vehicle to BMW, they called me and informed me that they cannot repair the car because motor plan does not cover impact... What excuse is this? the vehicle has never been in any accidents, they say it could be a pot hole because of a bubble on the tyre and some nonsense about the rim not straight or something like that.

This is unacceptable BMW, what exactly is your definition of Impact? nothing else is wrong with the car, it does not rattle, the shock is not bent or anything else next to the shock is broken. The bubble on the vehicle has been there for over 2 years now, i am now being penalized for not changing my tyres? i asked for proof of impact and this was not provided to me. i must just believe some technician who is not even willing to listen when i say the issue with the tyre has been there for a long time now.

What is the purpose of a warranty if we are going to be panelized for driving in the bad streets of this country? the is no visible signs of hard impact or any real impact on the car beside the bubble on the tyre. The vehicle still drives fine. if i had hit a pot hole to an extant that it was going to damage the car, i would remember that.

I refuse to pick up a bill when the car is still on warranty. BMW has to be accountable and take cover this damage as per the motor plan, i am not taking this one laying down, this is not the first time BMW tried to do this with me. i feel cheated and not appreciated by a business i have supported for many years now.

The service manager said the issue has been escalated, i was not given an escalation number nor a date when I will receive feedback, just that I need to drive the vehicle until the end of July when someone will care enough to call me back.

I am on study leave today for my MBA exam, yet I cant even focus because BMW does not understand what ethical business practice is.
