BMW Financial Services Cant help. NO!
BMW Financing residual is the biggest let down even though i have paid a ton of cash to date on my vehicle . I have financed my BMW with BMW Financial Services 5 years ago and struggled along the way to pay my debt to the vehicle. In good faith i have managed to pay the premiums however erratically to ensure that i retain my vehicle, i am 2 premiums out. My residual is up in 7 days and BMW financial services does not give me any viable option. I paid almost R500000 for my car to date and owe R170000 on my residual. I cant afford to pay this and even sitting with a finance person at the BMW Autoglen Kim Breed who did not even bother to call me back to help me understand my situation from the beginning of October 2017.
So i have been told by Dale at the Settlement offices NO they cant help if i have conducted the account so poorly. Their solution is for me to get finance from another institution which i know i cant get at all, with my current credit status. From my understanding the vehicle i drive is now up for settlement and will be taken away auctioned off and I will be required to pay the difference. IS THIS FAIR to me or can i just get the balance added to my so badly paid account to continue with my payments for even another 5 years and have the asset in my possession until it is fully settled. BMW is good to go when they need to put your bum in the seat, very quick to get the collectors when you are 3 months out and never able to respond to you in finding a solution. BMW Financial Services are horrible. All i ask for is to continue to pay what is outstanding in a revised agreement and me not be without the vehicle and be put in more debt for something that will be taken away.
I NEED A SOLUTION
