Spare tire removed from my vehicle, not put back, but sold to dealer in Umlazi

<p>On the 12/04/17 I went to Bluff Tyres to fit four new Firestone FS100 tyres, the instruction was that the front left tyre should go as is to spare and there was a rim in the load area of the van which will go on the vehicle this was at about 14.30.</p> <p>At 16.00 I was told the vehicle was ready and on inspection found that the tyre which was to go to spare was not in the tyre well, and the flat tyre was still there with the big nail in it , all four new Firestone tyres were in the vehicle, THE SPARE WAS NEVER CHECKED , WHERE IS THE TYRE THAT I HAD ON THE FRONT LEFT WHICH WAS NEW??? they advised me they would look at about 16.45 they said they would put another brand and size tyre on so I could get home and should go to Pinetown at 09.30 as I live near there, It was late and I was already late for an appointment so I offered to buy a new tyre but they would have to mark down the tyre as they had lost or misplaced me tyre, they said NO. They phoned Pinetown ,I was told so there would be no delays when I got to the Pinetown shop (Bestdrive) Bluff Tyres. 13/04/17 got to Best Drive (Bluff tyres ) in old main road they did not have my tyre and did not have another to replace the odd size tyre Im driving about with. Phoned Kevin who said I should drive down to them and he was going to sort it out this was about 10.30, I asked him very polotely that I would not intertain this level of service and wanted a new tyre, we agreed that he would sort this out within an hour, he had called me and advised he had found the tyre and would send it within 20 min. I agreed and was happy it was going to be solved and had to get to another meeting at 13.30. When the tyre got to me I had one look at the tyre and new this was not my tyre, the tyre I had on still has the red and green paint on the tread of the tyre as it was the first time i used the tyre, it was the spare. (Mathew who helped me when I drove in looked at this tyre for the size and I discussed that this tyre would go as spare which he noted on the job card) when I held the tyre there was grease or oil on it as though it came from a s**** yard, I then spoke to Kevin and advised him this was not my tyre , this tyre was covered in some stickey stuff and there was no paint markings on the tread grooves. He explained the tyre was sold to a tyre dealer in Umlazi and he had to get the tyre from him that is why it looks like that, he was not even sure it was my tyre or not but it was he same make. WHY DO YOU PASS SOMEONES S**** TO ME. I fit new tyres for my safety just because its a spare tyre WHY SHOULD I USE A SECOND HAND TYRE. In an emergency the spare would be put on the car and shhould not be second grade!!! WHY WAS THE TYRE SOLD, IT WAS NOT FOR THEM TO TAKE AND SELL AS I REQUESTED ON THE JOB CARD FRONT LEFT TO SPARE AS IS</p> <p>If I had not checked the spare before I left Bluff tyres I would have driven off with the flat spare on the vehicle and taking it for granted the front left tyre was in place, but what I had was still a flat spare tyre</p> <p> </p> <p>This is BAD, one could say it was a mistake but not the case this is theft and deception. This tyre was sold as it came off the vehicle, the rubber was still not cold , I was told to do as I pleased and the matter would be solved on Tuesday or Wednesday 18th or 19th April. So I have to park this vehicle off for Easter till their Boss gets back from holiday ????? Firstone this is what your supplier/ fitment centre is doing, what are you going to do?????</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>9</p>
