Disappointing Customer Service and Costly lack of advice.

On the 8th of March 2019, I went to Bluff Tyres in Pinetown to purchase two tyres for my car. They had a special on the Goodyear Efficient Grip and I immediately decided that the price was very reasonable and the make of tyre was also good so I would purchase these tyres. The salesman notified me that there was only one tyre in stock, but said that he would be able to get another tyre although it might not be immediately. I was in no hurry to put the second on immediately and agreed to put on one tyre for that time on the premise that I will be contacted when the tyre was in stock so that I may purchase the other tyre. About a week later, when I did not get contacted about the tyre, I called the pinetown branch and the salesman told me that the still did not get the tyre in stock. I requested for the salesperson to please source the same spec of tyre for me, since I had one only and needed to fir a similar tyre on the opposite side. The salesman did not call me back. My wife then tried to assisted me and called to speak to a manager for which we were directed to a Chatsworth branch. She spoke to a Mr Daniel Govender, who informed her that the did not have stock of the "old" tyres which were on special but he can sell us one from the new stock but, the price was more than One and half times the price we paid for the tyre we purchased on special. I did nopt agree with this and called Mr Daniel Govender myself. He refused to understand that I have incurred a loss due to the fact that could not sell me the tyre at the sale price. Had I have been told that there are no gaurantees that I will get a second tyre due to whatevber reason, then i would have the choice of purchasing two differnt tyres which suited my budget, BUT now I am stuck with having to fit same make of tyre which now retails for more than one and a half times the price. I was furious with Mr Daniel Govender and mentioined that if he does not do something to assist me, I will put my story down in Hello Peter. Despite mentioning this to Mr Daniel Govender, it has been three weeks since my call to him and he has STILL not called me back to date. Is this the customer service one can expect from Bluff Tyres ?? I am highly diappointed.
