Worms in my chicken cheese griller

I purchased a chicken cheese griller at the food cart outside the bluff meat supply on fri the 22/01/2016 around 2.30. I ate three quarters of it and wrapped the rest back up in the same tray and cling wrap it was served with. I took the reminder piece and left it on my kitchen counter only to see two stringing brown things on the sausage i waited for my husband to get home and told him to check what those two stringy things were. he confirmed that they were in fact two worms that were half in and half out of the sausage. I am uncertain if the worms were alive when i ate it but would prefer to think that they were trying to get out during the cooking process. I have an absolute fear and repulsion of worms in general and this incident has made me feel sick and disgusted.
