Unappetizing Biltong

I drove from Chatsworth yesterday to bluff meats in bluff to purchase biltong as i normally do, i purchased hunters biltong and chunks, i was very disappointed when i got home and tasted the biltong, it was quite dry and very unappetizing. my kids ended up feeding it to the dog, I am very disappointed to have driven all that distance for satisfactory biltong.
