Dead maggots found in loin chops!!

On the 26th of March 2020, a day before the lockdown my husband and I went to Bluff Meat Supply on the bluff to buy stuff before the lockdown. On the 4th of April, we took the chops out to braai. We defrosted and marinated the meat and immediately cooked it. My daughter who is 2 years old loves chops so I cooled of a piece for her. Less than an hour later while my husband and I were eating I saw a whole lot of white stuff on my chop after biting into it. I asked my husband to look and we both confirmed it was dead maggots! We immediately stopped eating. When contacting the manager and sending him pictures as requested with the store name and date it was packaged on the label he denied that the meat was from his store! He was extremely rude and had the nerve to say the meat was from another store. My mother then contacted them again and having spoken to two other managers who were also extremely rude. The best they could do was replace the meat not refund. Why would we want to get anymore meat from them!! I got sick from eating the meat. I had to get over the counter meds due to the lock down and I could not risk taking our child out or leaving her with anyone. I was more than anything affected by seeing it in my plate and the fact that I fed it to my child. We did get two other meat professionals who clarified that its possible that the maggots found it's way into the meat at the butcher. The managers were defensive and showed no compassion. Not all customers accept refunds. A simple apology would have been accepted.
