Ensure you get the MANUFACTURER'S warranty when buy from a small trader.

I bought a new Lenovo T480 laptop from BlueTech during September last year (2019). I discovered today (from the Lenovo web-site) that the unit had no warranty from Lenovo - apparently Lenovo is willing to sell products without warranties, allowing dealers to supply their own warranties. I was never informed of this. It is a material concern because BlueTech's a small operation and I doubt they have the resources to deal properly with a large warranty claim. I would not have bought from them if I had known about the lack of Lenovo warranty.
