Never again
I purchased a BlueNova 52V-77-4k on 2019/01/14 and installed it as part of my Victron-based system with BMS control via CAN.
Within days, the unit started tripping on cell under voltage while reporting 100% state-of-health and more than 15% state-of-charge. I have been in contact with the seller and BlueNova on-and-off since 2019/03/04 in an attempt to resolve the issues, which became more serious (tripping at 30% state-of-charge). A 30% uncer*****y translates to ~ R10000 of my investment in the water.
After more than a year and a half, the issues were still not resolved, even after returning the unit to BlueNova for testing and repairs.
I gave up a few weeks ago when load shedding started again (with the unit back at BlueNova again) and installed a Freedom Lite battery. 30 minutes later, for the first time in more than a year my system was running reliably.
I do not know how if their newer units are any better, but for me it is “never again”.
B.T.W. - The model I had had to charge to 100% in order to balance the cells! I cannot imagine why they did it that way; it was such a hassle with PV.

I lent out the BlueNova to a friend (propper Victron setup) to run a desktop, a mini PC and a laser printer. Is kind of managed for a while, but couldn't cope with stage 8.
I'll probably sell it as s**** soon - I know someone who needs cells to DIY his own battery.
