Battery Workmanship
I bought an 840ah, weighing 500 kg, battery 9 months ago. When I received the battery the external communication ports are marked for example USB, on the frame front panel, then it has a RJ45 connection and on the RJ45 port it's actually a USB connection. It has 2 x RJ45 plug-ins with one pushed into its socket and makes it un-pluggable I have pictures available). When I needed to switch the battery off, to disconnect the system, it can't switch off. The danger is when the battery can't switch off when it goes out of parameters it might create a fire hazard. This was reported in person to the Blue Nova technicians in Centurion, they said they will come back to me, they didn't till today. I went there again 3 days ago, opened a ticket, they send me invoice for call-out fee, 2 hrs labor and travelling costs. I made payment immediately once I received the quotation and excepted the price, I need to get this battery working soonest. It seems like there is NO Quality Control in Blue Nova and the workmanship is like it was built in a backyard garage or something similar. This battery cost me R 300 000 (three hundred thousand Rand) and still they charge me R 2 100 to fix their ****py work done on it, well its 3 days and not repaired yet. I paid that price to get off the national grid, for saving money on the long run, I'm back to the grid, thank you Blue Nova, now I've got an expense boat anger. This company is penny wise pound fullish at the best. It's not about the money, it's all about greed, enough is never enough.
STAY AWAY FROM BLUE NOVA, IT'S NOT WORTH THE PRICE YOU WILL PAY, BELIEVE ME.
