Treating Customers like babys
Today I wanted to transfer money from my Standard bank account to my Absa account. Doesn't matter how low the amount I put in, it tells me to go in to the branch to have my limit set. I went to the Stellenbosch Branch and they were offline until further notice. My problem is why do they put a limit on it when I have used it before and why do I have to go in to the bank like a naughty schoolboy to ask permission to transfer my own money? With Absa you can manage your limits online. My Wife has the same problem with Standard bank. I wish I could get her to leave and come over with me to ABSA.
