Standbank Blue Bean Credit Card: They have made it an impossibility to close this account. When you pay the last bit of the remain credit you have to call through to close the account. This could take hours. I tried and couldn't get through. The following opportunity I had, (as I am a full time working person who can't spend 24 hours on the phone) they told me I still have a small amount to pay. So I paid it. But the internet option for blue bean doesn't allow immediate payments. So once again I will accumulate interest and not be able to close the account until I pay this interest and will have to sit on the phone again with the hopes of getting through to close the account. This cycle continue repeatedly. Unless you take 2 weeks leave and can sit on the phone 24 hours till you get through.
