Late Fee on outstanding balance

I recently paid up my credit card and had a credit balance of R20 odd. So at the end of last month service fees went off and as of 29/06 my balance was R39.40. I actually forgot about making a payment as i assumed the balance was low and didn't require one so soon. <br> <br> To my shock and horror Bluebean decided to charge me R145.00 late fee on a balance of R39.40. How can this be acceptable? I called the call centre and the consultant tells me, that is the standard fee and basically you are liable for payment whatever your outstanding balance is. So to my understanding if I have a R1.00 outstanding balance and i don't pay. I will be charged R145.00. <br> <br> I have decided to close my credit card with bluebean and will MAKE IT MY DUTY to spread the word about their ridiculous charges. As being a loyal customer of theirs for so long I cannot go on with this kind of customer service.
