BlueBean credit card deduction from CLOSED account

Good day

How is it possible that BlueBean credit card can allow a deduction from Hertz car hire after the card had been closed? The car had been hired in April 2017, the card was closed in July 2018 and the deduction allowed in October 2019.

Standardbank does not answer my question.
