Traumatic experience at Blue Waters Hotel in Durban

I was a guest at blue Waters Hotel in Durban over period 14 to 17 July 2023,for me and my two kids. On Sunday 16 July around 17h00 a horrific GBV incident happened. A male employee beat another female employee infront of me and the Duty manager, it was in the corridor of the 4th floor. I was so shocked and scared, I screamed out loud for anyone to come and assist. Other employees came through to assist to separate the male from continuing to beat the female. This incident was so traumatic that I even fainted. I was expecting the hotel to at least follow up on how am doing as the guest they value, at least try to check if am not suffering from any anxieties from witnessing this incident, to this day no contact has been made. I called on the 3rd of August to check what's the hotel going to do about it and the manager just told me " they are sorry that I had to witness that thing and there's nothing they can do about it" This is not how to treat guests and I feel something has to be done. The hotel should follow up, instead I was treated as if nothing happened to me.
