Bad reception

It is a pity I am actually in the hospitality space so I usually don't expect too much however when I get below my tolerance I think it's best to let you know. The reception at this hotel was beyond horrible. The lady who assisted us was rude, time wasting and what's worse is the constant chewing of gum that we had to endure. As if this was my only issue as I entered the room, I called switchboard to my utter disappointment the phone in the room was not working so I had to go down to reception to ask for towels. There I realized there was a waiting line and because It took me an hour to simply check in I called using my personal line the first person at switchboard promised to get me towels and the phone fixed. Around 10 pm I had to call again now with frustration that 3 hours earlier I asked for just towels and a functioning phone. Here I was told that they can't do anything to help me with the phone and they will send someone with towels. I have never received such a terrible reception at a hotel I expected atleast a 3 star service from. I'll never come back to this hotel even if it became free to sleep here
