BAD CONFERENCE VENUE

Booked Blue Waters Hotel as a venue for a client half day conference. Never again. Squashed into an 18th Floor room which was not the room they initially identified for us... arrival board not working so delegates confused where to go on arrival... Had to ask for power plug for laptop etc..not already set up. Insufficient catering for numbers booked...having to go down 18 floors to cups etc... half the room didn't have blinds so sun streamed in..making it difficult for delegates to see presentations..Windows didn't seal properly causing screen to be blown around during presentations... Management called and responded but not very interested....all in all a very unprofessional morning that reflected badly on our Company. Should have identified red flags as booking the venue involved a lot of back and forth emails.
