Driver denies paying learner to board bus

My son was booked this afternoon from Midrand to Bloemfontein (Ticket Number: ***WC385). When we arrived at the Engen Garage, my son produced his ticket to driver from his phone and was refused to board the bus. I then chased the bus all the way to park station which was highly inconvenient and unsafe for me. I think this driver was rude and his before cost me money (since I paid for my son from Midrand and my money of driving after a bus all the way to park station. Luckily, he was allowed to board in JHB. 1) I would this driver investigated 2) I would like to be refunded for the leg from Midrand to Park station.
