Blue Shield of California is the worst health insurance provider I have dealt with in my 53 years. I need to see an eye surgeon but I can't because I have not been set-up correctly in their service. Service providers cannot verify my coverage. I have paid my coverage for one month but cannot access service. I initiated a complaint with the state regulator. I initiated a complaint within the Company and speak regularly with the CEO's office - but the matter has not been resolved. The latest is that my co-payment to see the eye surgeon is 50? higher than what appears on my ID Card! ***** and incompetence. Stay away from Blue Shield.
