OUT DATED HOTEL

I always want to visit Bloubergstrand Cape Town, heard a lot about this place. People recommend The Blue Peter Hotel, I have never been so disappointed, we took a room with sea view and balcony.... as we enter the room I could see that the mattress was bumpy and uncomfortable, the pillows were thin and old, the linen was dull and did not smell fresh, the carpets had stains on and looked dirty... the bathroom was cold, no heated towles, no heat of any sort, the wind was howling through the window...the shower was inside the bath very uncomfortable..... no heated system build in the room, somebody brought a oil heater 4 bars into the room after I complained to my husband about this. we paid a R1800 for this room and I think it was not worth it, this room was worth about R700. We stayed in Franschoek, payed less for a cottage that was 5star, compare to the Blue Peter Hotel that charged us double. never again
