I did not give consent for Blue Label Data Solutions to share my information

Last night I received a call from a young gentleman trying to sell me some sort of funeral cover. He was very polite and when I asked him where he got my number he said they get a list from Blue Label Data Solutions. I have never consented to have my number shared with any sort of call centre. How did Blue Label get my number? I could hear this young man was just doing his job, so I am stuck between two emotions. Utter compassion for this call centre worker who gets paid based on sales and/or completed pitches, and absolute fury for Blue Label who just *******ly harvests my contact details to sell on without my consent. If I could give a **** emoji instead of one star I would.
