I have been very careful when completing new documents and my personal information and giving access to this when dealing with specific companies since the Poppia act have been in place and prior to this.

What I do not understand is how can a company that you don't even know exist be having all your personal data, this is really scary, and if this legal, I really wonder how secure our laws are in SA protecting the consumer and his right to privacy?
