Sanlam contacted me via SMS to promote a product that I would never be interested in. I called their department and they advised that Blue Label Data Solutions provided them with my details.
Since submitting a complaint on BLDS (blue Label data solutions) website does not get a response - please see below mail.
Please advise a full report for the following topics: 1. Inception date of my personal details - what date was the first date of my personal information stored on your database? 2. Party that provided my personal details - kindly confirm the entity that provided BLDS with my personal information. Please confirm all entities. 3. What personal information was given to BLDS - please confirm every single line of personal information provided 4. How much money was paid/received for this personal information - please also confirm how much each entity was paid/received 5. Submit permission provided by me personally, for this exchange of personal information
This company is utter **** and I wish there were laws protecting South African users rather than giving companies like this power to misuse and make money of my personal information.
I have tried contact BLDS on *** over 35+ times in the past 2 weeks - everytime I am told that Mark is not available. I am told ONLY Mark works for BLDS but when I look at LinkedIn - I can see there are 20 employees.
Why are receptionist lying about this company? Are you guys THIS bad that you are lying to people to protect employees?
